The antimicrobial specialist has become the first technology company of its kind to successfully gain the HACCP International certification.
Completion of the process, which included an independent assessment and verification process, demonstrates that BioCote’s Link 51’s storage solutions are fit for purpose, and do not compromise food safety protocols.
Link 51 has used BioCote® technology in its paint finish on storage solutions for some time, supplying products to the health, education, leisure and industrial market sectors. It offers permanent protection against superbugs such as MRSA, E. coli and other micro-organisms.
Simon Baugh, Marketing Director at Link 51, said that the coating “provides customers with the reassurance they need to complement existing cleaning regimes, reducing the risk of cross-contamination within busy multi-user environments”.
BioCote® microbial technology is now certified by HACCP International and carries the HACCP mark.
