HACCP course

The Association for Organics Recycling is running a one day course focused on HACCP planning in the context of PAS BSI 100 specification.

The course is kindly sponsored and will be hosted by SITA UK
It has been developed by AfOR in conjunction with HACCP expert Victoria Phillips (Victoria Phillips LTD).
The course will help delegates to understand how to design and implement a HACCP plan in line with PAS 100 requirements.
A robust HACCP plan should enable the composting operator to produce a compost product that is safe and fit for purpose.

The course is targeted at:

Composting operators that are working toward achieving certification to PAS 100 under the AfOR Compost Certification Scheme (see www.organics-recyclint.org.uk/quality-compost

Composting operators that are already certified to PAS 100 under the AfOR Compost Certification Scheme;

Companies that are designing/building composting plants with the aim of achieving PAS 100 certification at some stage in future;

Certification body officers and inspectors; and consultants that provide technical advice to composting operators.

At the end of the training session delegates will be given the option to undertake an assessment (30 minute examination consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions) and, subject to passing the assessment, they will be awarded with a Foundation Certificate in HACCP - Level 2 (for more information visit http://www.rsph.org.uk/en/qualifications/qualifications/qualifications.cfm/haccp).
